Matthew is a graduate of Lexington Theological Seminary in Kentucky. He has 20–plus years in ministry, both as an associate and senior pastor. Jody Messmer – Secretary
Since April 2010, I have been the secretary at Salem Evangelical UCC. The office is a busy place to work! There are always people coming in and phone calls to answer. That is what I love about my job. There is never a dull moment! I enjoy being the first point of contact for our members and the Quincy community for Salem.
When I am not at work I am still very busy taking care of two crazy kids! My kids are seven years apart and they keep me very entertained. I met my husband, Jake, at Salem Church and we were married here 18 months later! So, Salem has definitely changed my life.
In my spare time, which is rare, I enjoy reading, swimming, traveling and shopping. I love finding a bargain.
Being a staff member at Salem is a privilege and I enjoy it very much!
