2010 Easter at Salem!

Holy Week is in full swing, with Easter just around the corner.  You are welcome to join us at Salem as we celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!  If you’re unsure how to get to our church, click here for directions.

Thursday, April 1
Maundy Thursday service, 7:00 PM, Salem Sanctuary – Featuring a live reenactment of the Last Supper.  Come experience the Last Supper and witness for yourself the events leading up to Jesus’ death.

Friday, April 2
Community Good Friday service, 12:00 PM, Union United Methodist Church at 1101 State, Quincy – Join fellow Christians throughout the community as we observe the death of our Lord.
Good Friday Tenebrae service, 7:00 PM, Salem Sanctuary - Solemnly observe Jesus’ torture and death.  As the lights diminish, so does Jesus’ life on this earth.

Sunday, April 4 – Easter!
Sunrise worship, 6:30 AM, Salem Gazebo at 9th & State, Quincy - As the sun rises to shine its light on our world, so is the Lord resurrected to shine his grace and mercy upon his people!  Celebrate the coming of the risen Christ!
Easter Breakfast, 7:30 – 8:30 AM, Salem Fellowship Hall - Share in fellowship with other believers as we eat breakfast prepared by our Salem youth.
Easter worship, 9:00 AM, Salem Sanctuary – Christ is risen, hallelujah!  Experience the joy at this celebration of Christ’s resurrection!

Can’t make it but still want to share in the celebration?  Our worship will be televised on WGEM at 10 AM on Sunday, with replays on CGEM at noon and CW at 6 PM.  We hope that you join us to share in the wonderful resurrection of Christ!
